Description

The project consists of the renovation of first floor spaces within the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy’s Beard Hall at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The scope includes the combination of an existing student lounge and small classroom into a single reconfigured student lounge totaling approximately 1,858 SF, as well as renovation of two existing small offices into wellness rooms. Work includes selective demolition of ceilings and soffits; removal of designated non-load-bearing interior partitions; reconfiguration of interior spaces; installation of new interior floor finishes; and associated modifications to electrical, mechanical, and fire protection systems. Fire protection work includes adjustments to the existing sprinkler system to coordinate with the new ceiling grid layout.
