Description

Please refer to the bid docs/specs along with the general conditions for clarifications on what is to be included in the base bid, and what work is considered part of the alternates. The work required for this project shall consist of the removal and repair to the extent indicated herein and on the Drawings. Repair work shall include the following: Exterior work for addition to Building # 2: Grading, construction of new concrete driveway and parking lot, installation of new water and sewer lines to connect to existing lines, new storm drain lines, installing bollards, etc. See drawings for full extent of the work Interior work for addition to Building # 2: One-story building addition consisting of a 2,440 sq. ft.-Pre-Engineered Metal Building (40’ x 60’) with wall / roof batt insulation with similar dimensions and roof slope as the existing building # 2. Includes six (6) inch concrete slab and foundations, a sign shop (18’ x 28’), hollow metal doors, installing bollards, two (2) sectional doors, one (1) rolling door, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work. Interior work for Lobby/Reception renovation in Building # 1: Renovation work to the Lobby and Reception area (approx. 117 sq. ft.) includes demolition of stud & masonry walls, construction of new 8” block walls, new casework and window for the reception counter, new floor / wall finish, suspended ceiling tiles, access control devices for two (2) doors and electrical outlets. Interior work for office/shop, ADA restroom & mezzanine in Building # 1: The 1,160 sq. ft.-renovation area includes a new office, ADA restroom, storage room and an 880 sq. ft.-mezzanine in the Renovation requires demolition of existing concrete slab for mezzanine (steel structure) columns, installing metal stud walls with 5/8” gypsum wallboard, suspended ceiling tiles, new window & doors, floor / wall finishes, plumbing, A/C & electrical work.
